It was a battle of five state champions but in the end three-time state champion Vivian Hurn of Montgomery Central High School took the top prize as Boom Sports Media Girls Wrestler of the Year.
Hurn garnered a total of 474 points in the balloting, getting 129 fan votes and 345 expert panel votes to take first place. She finished her year with a 34-0 record, and beat Elizabeth Champion (Tullahoma) with a pin at 3:24. She was state champion in the 140 lb class in 2018 and last year (beating this year’s 140 champion Saqara Buchanan).

• Annalynn Rackett, Clarksville Academy: 375 total (306 fan and 69 expert panel)
• Saqara Buchanan, Rossview: 319 total (319 fan)
• Robbin Yunis, Rossview: 317 total (41 fan and 276 expert panel)
• Emma Walker, Rossview: 304 total (97 fan and 207 expert panel)
