Sensation Sycamore center Daniel Saylor has been named the Boom Sport Media Boys Basketball Player of the Year for 2019-20 after a vote of the fans and our expert panel.

Saylor finished his senior year with his second District 9AA Player of the Year award. He and his War Eagle teammates won the district championship, but lost in the semi-finals of the region tournament. He has committed to play next year at the University of Alabama-Huntsville.

Here’s how the final vote looked:

Daniel Saylor, Sycamore: 200 fan votes + 284 expert panel votes = 484 total votes.

Daniel Loos, Clarksville Academy: 54 fan votes + 284 expert panel votes = 338 total votes

James Stultz, Stewart County: 223 fan votes + 57 expert panel votes = 280 total votes

Aiden Williams, Harpeth: 202 fan votes + 0 expert panel votes = 202 total votes

Ametri Moss, Northwest: 57 fan votes + 114 expert panel votes = 171 total votes

Jaylen Washington, Kenwood: 35 fan votes + 57 expert panel votes = 92 total votes

Spencer Mimms, Rossview: 24 fan votes + 0 expert panel votes = 24 total votes
