Clarksville Academy senior golf standout Hunter Farrell has signed with the University of the South February 12. Farrell led the Cougars with a tied-4th place finish in the 2017 Division II Class A State Tournament. Farrell recorded an 82.1 average in 7 rounds of 18-holes during her senior campaign. Her 9-hole match average was an impressive 38.75. Farrell recorded her best 18-hole round at the 2017 Division II Class A State Tournament by shooting a 76 on Day 2 of the tournament. Farrell participated in 3 State Tournaments during her career at Clarksville Academy.

Farrell, a three-year letterwoman, has showed great leadership for the Clarksville Academy Golf program on and off the course. Off the course, Farrell is a member of National Honor Society, Model United Nations, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Future Business Leaders of America. Farrell has excelled on several summer golf tours throughout her middle and high school career.

Farrell is the daughter of Jason and Stephanie Farrell. She is the granddaughter of Francis and Linda Farrell, Deborah Hesch, and Ronna Chiaroni.
