The Associated Press released its weekly high school football poll for the state of Tennessee on Monday, and three of the 12 area teams covered by Boom Sports Media TN were included.

In the Division I Class AAAAA poll, Northeast landed at number 4 this week, while Clarksville made its first appearance in the poll at number 9. Northeast (2-0) hosts cross-town Kenwood (1-1) this week. Clarksville (2-0) makes a road trip to Mississippi to face Lewisburg (1-1)

Clarksville Academy is number 5 in the Division II Class A poll. The Cougars (1-0) travel to Zion Christian (2-0) in their region opener.
