The West Creek Lady Coyotes soccer team hosted the Clarksville High Lady Wildcats Tuesday night. The Lady Coyotes were defeated 0-9 in mercy rule. 

Sophomore forward Janiya Stevens led the charge for Clarksville High finishing with three goals.

West Creek goalie Trinity Wilson-Irwin ended the night with 16 saves despite their lost. 

Clarksville High moved the ball around efficiently as they scored at will. Sophomore Ashley Campagne finished with a goal and an assist; sophomore Ellie Wiggins also finished with a goal and an assist; junior Kristen Gasaway finished with a goal; freshman Kristen Greis finished with a goal; freshman Maddie Bond finished with a goal. 

“I thought we played some really pretty soccer,” said Clarksville High head coach Jeff Jordan. “It does not matter who your opponent is, if you move the ball like that and move off the ball like you can score on anybody at any level. Pass, move and find empty space.”

Clarksville High will travel to take on St. George Thursday, September 6 at 4:00 PM.

West Creek will head to Nashville, TN to face off against McGavock Thursday, September 6 at 8:00 PM.
