Leigh Sullivan was to be a key player on a Clarksville Academy team with great promise. The senior catcher has already made a commitment to play at the next level, signing with Bryan College in Dayton, TN.
His parents Ed and Chasidy Sullivan said, “We will miss seeing Leigh play on the high school field with his teammates. This picture sums up his fierceness as an athlete. We won’t get the chance to watch all his games once he is in college. Definitely hard moments for us as parents as well as for Leigh. Very thankful he gets the opportunity to continue playing baseball at the next level.”
His coach, Dustin Smith, said of his catcher, “Leigh has been a vital part of Clarksville Academy’s success. He has been a solid backstop for one of the best pitching staffs in the state. His work ethic and talent will be missed. He is a an outstanding catcher, and an even better young man. I wish him nothing but the best in the future.”
