Dalila Garcia-Flores, Kenwood High School — The senir center/mid “has been an absolute force for our midfield. As one of our captains, she is always working hard to win the ball in the midfield, play feet and look to get the ball forward. I am very proud of all of the work she has put in this season. She is a leader for her team and has been an absolute pleasure to coach.,” her coach Caitlyn Casey said.
Jesse Bumpus, Cheatham County Central High School — The senior defensive back has two goals on the season. “She is a first year soccer player, but a huge asset to our defense and team as a whole. She came out this season after some of her friends asked her to play without really knowing what to expect. She has improved so much throughout this season, and has gotten stronger and more confident every game. Jesse reads the ball really well and makes great tackles to turn into an offensive possession for our team,” her coach Susie Kephart said.
Kelsie Green, Sycamore High School — The senior defender ‘is all over the field for Sycamore. She has incredible speed, and can chase down any attacker who has gotten their way through our defense. She has great footwork, and is able to weave through the midfield to make runs. She is a strong presence in the back of the field, and is a team leader. She keeps her head in tough situations, and protects our end with everything she’s got,” her coach Sheila Gaertner said.
