Finalists for Volleyball Player of the Week, for games through September 6, Voting closes at midnight on Sunday!

  • Katie Rogers, Harpeth High School – The senior libero for Harpeth accumulated 50 digs and seven aces this week. She earned the team 20 points off serves. “She has played some awesome defense and created several big hustle plays,” her coach Alesia Beshears said.
  • Sirenity Thompson, West Creek High School – The senior middle hitter led her team to a 2-0 record this week, contributing 12 kills, nine aces, and two blocks.
  • Kierstin Ervin, Sycamore High School – The junior setter had 103 assists, 21 aces, 30 digs, and four blocks in a busy week. “She has worked real hard and improved so much as a setter and server. She hustles, so she can get to every second touch ball. She would run through a wall if that’s what was needed for the team,” her coach Lea Hunter said.
  • Hannah Vautier, Cheatham County Central High School – The senior hitter had 12 kills and three blocks against two good teams in Springfield and Camden. “She’s our best hitter, and if she’s on, our team follows her lead,” her coach Aaron Nicholson said.
